Terms of Service

Last updated: May 9, 2026

1. Who We Are

CPNeeds.com (“CPNeeds,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Johanna V. Kamerman, Esq. (Pennsylvania Bar #315641 / Florida Bar #27984). We provide birth injury case evaluations, free medical record translation services, and legal intake services for families whose children may have been harmed by medical negligence during birth.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using this website, submitting information through our forms, calling our phone line, or speaking with our intake assistant Sofia does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you sign a written retainer agreement with an attorney.

3. Attorney Advertising Disclaimer

This website and all associated materials constitute attorney advertising. Past case results displayed on this site ($9.3 million — Philadelphia, PA; $6 million — Fort Lauderdale, FL; $6 million — LaSalle, IL) do not guarantee future outcomes. Every case is different and must be evaluated on its own facts.

4. Free Medical Record Translation

We offer a free medical record translation service. You may upload your child's medical records for translation into plain language. This service is provided at no cost and does not obligate you to pursue legal action. Consent to be contacted is not required to receive your free records translation.

5. Lead Token / Case Reference Number

When you submit your information, you will receive a unique case reference code (your “lead token”). This code identifies your inquiry in our system. Keep it safe — you can use it to check the status of your case review by calling 1-800-CP-NEEDS.

6. Sofia — AI Intake Assistant

When you call 1-800-CP-NEEDS, you may speak with Sofia, our AI-powered intake assistant. Sofia is not a human and not an attorney. Sofia gathers preliminary information about your situation. All calls with Sofia are recorded. By continuing a call with Sofia after this disclosure, you consent to recording.

7. Consent to Communications

By checking the consent checkbox on our intake form, you agree to receive calls, text messages, WhatsApp messages, and emails from CPNeeds (operated by Johanna V. Kamerman, Esq.), including via automated systems or pre-recorded messages, at the phone number and email address you provided.

Consent is not required to receive your free records translation. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time:

Each communication channel can be revoked independently. Opting out of one channel does not affect the others.

8. HIPAA and Privacy

We take the privacy of your health information seriously. Medical records you upload are processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws. We maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all vendors who handle protected health information (PHI). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. No Fees Unless You Win

Birth injury attorneys work on a contingency fee basis. You pay nothing upfront. The attorney fee comes out of any settlement or judgment recovered on your behalf. If no recovery is made, you owe nothing.

10. Statute of Limitations

Birth injury claims are subject to statutes of limitations that vary by state. These deadlines are strictly enforced. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can evaluate whether your claim is within the applicable time limit.

11. Limitation of Liability

CPNeeds provides information and intake services only. We are not responsible for the outcome of any legal matter. We make no guarantees about the value of your case or the likelihood of success. All case evaluations are preliminary and subject to attorney review.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
